As the author of the political romance Yoga Novel, The Vital Breath, I practice yoga and meditation in order to access
and work on my soul. Each of us comes with our own calling in this life; The mansions, Lambo’s and merch will eventually
fade away, but our soul persists; that’s the real wealth. That’s the real flex.

A 20-Min Yoga Routine for those on the run
Busy professionals, parents, home-office workers can find it hard to go to a full 75 mins yoga class in the morning. Getting 20 mins in though is a lot easier. Since starting to write The Vital Breath TM in 2003, I have been able to create a routine that helps focus on awakening the body, building strength, core, deep breathing, usage of law of attraction, meditation, flexibility and even inversions. I try to do the routine 3-4 times a week and it keeps me centered.

Yoga Philosophy
There is a rule of thumb when it comes to Yoga: “The longer the breath, the calmer the mind.”
Any beginner yoga how-to-book will start off with a generic definition of Yoga, “A movement that brings together the body, mind and soul.” But if you dig a little deeper into the Sanskrit definition, it comes from the root to ‘tie together,’ as in a change of two threads. Eventually, Yoga can be interpreted as to “attain a change that was previously unattainable.”

Happiness Hormones We will be talking about some of the 4 “Happiness hormones”: Dopamine, serotonin, endorphins, and oxytocin, as well as some of the “hacks” to regulate them. After all, we all want to be happy, don’t we?! With the world more separated physically, more isolated, but digitally connected, one can forget that they may not get regular access to certain chemical release.

Mental Health is a HUGE topic, and we would be naïve to think we can cover all the aspects of it. The artist-founder- Veru Narula actively manages a bi-polar condition and shares some of the tips on self-care, guardrails and his journey. The point is, you are note alone and there are many community resources.
